Did you know that the way we produce and consume food is the single biggest cause of nature loss today? Yet, over a third of all food still goes uneaten and gets thrown away. Look in your fridge, pantry and freezer and cook up a meal using leftovers or other items you’d normally throw away. Add chicken bones to the pot to simmer for stock. Use squishy berries and brown-spotted bananas for smoothies. Add leftover meats and veggies to rice or noodles. Make every ingredient count to minimize our impact on the environment. You can also plan for meals and try to only buy what you need.
